2016 March marks the end of NNLPI and SIL International (Nepal)'s official six-year technical and funding support for the Rajbanshi MTB-MLE programme. A total of 48 students graduated from the three Rajbanshi MTB-MLE schools. All of them enrolled successfully into the nearby Nepali-medium or English-medium government schools to continue their secondary level studies.

NNLPI and SIL International (Nepal) will continue to provide some support to the schools in the next three years as they work towards being self-sufficient by the end of the three-year exit plan.

During this period, NNLPI MLE project team also plans to do a longitudinal study of the graduates in the coming three years to measure the impact of the programme. The project team plans to study these students' integration into the mainstream education system, whether the MTB-MLE programme has indeed prepared these students well with the necessary academic foundation and social skills to continue learning and advancing in the national education system.
