The NNLPI MLE Project Team visited Jharlang, Sertung and Tipling VDCs of Dhading District on 1-9 December 2015 to conduct an MTB-MLE needs assessment for the Western Tamang community. Prof. Dan Raj Regmi and Dr. Ambika Regmi also joined the trip to provide consultation to the needs assessment.

The purpose of the trip was to assess the Nepali proficiency of Western Tamang early grade children and the need for MTB-MLE programme to improve children's learning in Dhading rural areas.
