It was a busy but fruitful week on 8-15 October 2017! The MLE project team and three kindergarten teachers first had the second  teacher in-service training on 8-10 October. Eight other Western Tamang teachers and community representatives subsequently joined us to discuss, develop and edit lesson materials for Grade 1 Western Tamang language subject on 11-13 October. The project team and participants also discussed and agreed on the Western Tamang spelling standardization for education purpose in consultation with Professor Dan Raj Regmi and Dr. Ambika Regmi of the Central Department of Linguistics, Tribhuvan University.
