NNLPI project team and the 9 teachers from the Western Tamang MTB-MLE programme worked hard and practised hard at the recent kindergarten and Grade 1 teacher training held on 16-22 April 2018. For many, this was the first time they received training to teach language subjects using child-centred pedagogy. Despite the steep learning curve, these teachers have shown much enthusiasm and commitment in improving their teaching skills. They also enjoyed and had fun themselves with the participatory learning activities incorporated in the programme.
